The Saints versus The Good Guys | Liverpool 4 - 0 Southampton | Game Review 1 View on Zencastr

Possibly the closest 4-0 game Anfield has experienced in a while (Barca???). Southampton gave a good account of themselves especially in the first half, but Klopp’s team talk again did the trick and the boys go into the “Winter Break” with smiles and giggles.

Running Order:

  • 00:01 – 00:03 Liverpool not having a good first half since the Leicester City game and why
  • 00:03 – 00:05 Liverpool’s historically poor record in January since Klopp’s first season
  • 00:05 – 00:10 The return of Danny Ings to Anfield and the effect of Alisson on his normally clinical finishing
  • 00:10 – 00:12 Comparing Alisson with Peter Schmeichel
  • 00:12 – 00:18 Henderson as the perfect captain for this Liverpool side and how he compares to the other four Champions League winning LFC captains: Hughes, Thompson, Souness, Gerrard
  • 00:18 – 00:25 Third goal = Three Touch Football: Alisson to Henderson to Salah to net
  • 00:25 – 00:33 Why Salah appears liberated when playing without Sadio Mane
  • 00:33 – 00:38 The genius of Klopp’s half-time talks
  • 00:38 – 00:40 Discussing who looked the least impressive in this game
