Liverpool lose at Anfield in the Champion’s League round of 16 second leg against a “spirited” Atletico side that defended for 120 minutes, give or take the occasional counter attacking shot from outside the area. Problem for Liverpool was those counter attack’s led to 3 goals conceded to knock us out of the Champion’s League far earlier than anyone would have thought. There will be no Istanbul reunion this year…
