I can get very used to seeing this Shaqiri through ball for Jota finish combination we have enjoyed for the second time in five days. Both players came off the bench to put some life into a till then lacklustre Liverpool display. Special shout out to the “older than you realize” Nat Phillips who reminded us all that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the clear-on-sight style of defending, especially when you are missing Mr. Coolness Personified in the heart of the defence. In the end Liverpool came out 2-1 victors over VAR…I mean West Ham.
